Why do I need a Consultation?

Consultation is crucial. Your practitioner can analyse your face and propose a tailored programme. Factors taken into account are facial musculature, dynamic lines and gravitational lines. You will be asked about your medical history. General skin health/problems can also be discussed.

Medical Exclusions.
• Hypersensitivity.
• Auto-Immune diseases.
• Anti-inflammatory agents.
• Anti-coagulation therapy (week preceding treatment).
• Localised infections.
• Pregnancy/Lactation.
• Nerve disorders.

Will treatment be painful?

Local anaesthetic e.g. cream and dental blocking for dermal filler treatments can be used. More information on consultation. Muscle relaxing injections are relatively painless and treatment only takes 15-20 minutes.

Non-Permanent Dermal Fillers

Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the skin and preserves moisture levels and boosts tone giving a youthful appearance. Over time this acid decreases with age and skin loses moisture and tone, becoming dry and ti-agile, resulting in the appearance of wrinkles. Treatments with hyaluronc acid Dermal Fillers ("Restylane TM" and "Teosyal TM") effectively alleviate this process.

Botox©

Botox© has more recently been used for the treatment of facial wrinkles. It is especially useful for emotional wrinkles adjacent to the eyes on the forehead known as Dynamic wrinkles.

Tiny doses of Botox© are administered with a very tineyneedle in the areas of concern, often allevialing the wrinkles for about 3 to 6 months. Typically performed at three to four monthly intervals in the first year with less frequent treatments required in subsequent years. This alternative is a welcome one to many individuals who have concerns about more invasive cosmetic surgical procedures.

Botox© is used to rejuvenate Dynamic wrinkles and cannot improve face wrinkles caused by sun damage and age.

A combination of dermal tiller and Botox© may be meded to create and maintain aesthetic improvement.

Benefits begin in 5-7 days after the treatment and last on average three to four months, after which it can be repeated. All effects of the toxin ultimately reverse in time.

• £250 for 1 area
• £290 for 2 areas
• £310 for 3 areas
